ABOUT THE HOTEL

Villa Famiri Boutique hotel is a cosy, cozy, and charming family hotel just outside the centre of Paramaribo. It is located in the quiet and beautiful residential area of Rainville, within walking distance of restaurants, shops and entertainment centre. Villa Famiri is originally a minister's residence. The hotel is rated 3-star. Rooms are distributed on the ground and first floors. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower and toilet, air conditioning, Smart TV and mini fridge. Our rooms are different both in size and decoration. You can cool down in the small sunken swimming pool. Every morning we serve breakfast with various types of bread, meat, cheese, sweet, savoury, fruit, yoghurt, fresh juice, coffee and tea.

A great stay in Paramaribo

A comfortable hotel, a great breakfast and friendly staff. They also looked after our luggage when we went on an overnight trip. It’s a bit further from the centre, but taxis are very cheap and easily available, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Very Good

The Villa Famiri was clean and the breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the simple room and comfortable bed, as well as the added outdoor security. The price was a bit on the high side.

A very nice hotel with very helpful staff, but a bit far from the town centre.

The hotel was modern, bright, cheerful and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous, with plenty of options, and there was a lovely open-air area downstairs where guests could dine. The location was a bit far from the city centre, but despite these minor issues, it was a very pleasant stay and the staff really went out of their way to be helpful.

Fabulous staff at a lovely boutique hotel

The staff were brilliant and very helpful in organising transport, drying our clothes after we’d been caught in a torrential downpour, and changing our room. The room was very clean and lovely. I enjoyed the pool at the back and would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this extremely peaceful hotel

An extremely peaceful hotel, set in lovely green surroundings, with comfortable rooms – I’d recommend it 100%! Slightly noisy.

A lovely, comfortable stay – I loved the pool

We loved the swimming pool as it really helped us cool down on those hot afternoons. The free breakfast was simple but good. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The neighbourhood was very respectable and safe.

A comfortable stay in a cosy and very clean small hotel

Lovely beds. A good air-con that wasn’t too noisy. A nice, varied breakfast. Limited vegetarian options for dinner.

Cosy hotel

The staff are incredibly attentive, ready to go out of their way to cater to your needs. The service is exceptional. A cosy hotel where you feel right at home – peaceful and welcoming. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Top Wahl in Suriname!

Friendly staff. Quiet location. Great breakfast. We’ve stayed there several times and have always been happy to return. It felt like home in Suriname. Nothing.
